Have you asked yourself that question every time you read something about Attraction Marketing?

I mean when you look at wowzers like Rachel Jackson, Katie Frieling and Tracey Walker one would begin to think so. Fortunately for Daegan Smith, Jonathan Budd and I we still have a chance to compete with these hotties in the industry. Easy Jonathan my gf thinks you’re cute.. Anyway Attraction Marketing was a term coined by Mike Dillard in his book Magnetic Sponsoring if you haven’t gotten it you really owe it to yourself to pick up a copy.

Attraction Marketing could be more easily understood if it was called education marketing. This marketing method is produced by providing instruction that solves a problem with your target market. In the network marketing industry there are two very identifiable problems, the lack of prospects to talk too and enough money to stay in business. In the financial services business (my other world) it may be a blog post about how to choose between a Simple and Roth IRA. So the concept is implemented by creating material that addresses problem issues and providing it to your market. They will consume the information and when it solved their problem they will be attracted to you (<-clue) and seek you out for additional information. Some content you will want your website guests/students to register for that information by completing a form with their name, email and possibly a phone number. What you have done in essence is created a lead and placed a new prospect (<-clue) in your marketing pipeline.

How you monetize (a cool word for how to make money) with Attraction Marketing is twofold. One is most likely the products, tools or systems you use to solve whatever marketing problem your teaching on will probably have an affiliate program attached to it which means when you refer your reader to that tool and they purchase it you earn a commission creating funds that you can then use to do more marketing for your business (<-clue). You may even be advanced and create your own product then you won’t earn a commission but 100% of the sale! This is referred to as a funded proposal which will be another post. The second way you make money with Attraction Marketing is as you draw people close to you from teaching them methods to build their business then should they decide at some point to change companies, guess whose downline they will want to be in? Yours! Why wouldn’t they? You were there for them when their upline wasn’t and you have helped them in so many areas it would make logical sense for them to be a part of your team right? So they will call you up and say Mr. or Ms. Leader what business are you in because I want to join your team.

In closing the use of Attraction Marketing solves the two fundamental problems most networkers face, the lack of prospects to talk too and enough money to stay in business. If you have any questions for me feel free to call my office at 423-6-MLMPRO or leave your question in comment section below. If you need help in setting up an attraction marketing funnel click here Please share this post!

If you have not implemented Quick Recognition (QR) codes into your Marketing you may be missing out on a new shift in mobile marketing that makes it quicker and easier for your customers to find you.

A QR code is funny looking square like the one above. It allows your prospects who have smart phones to scan the code with a QR app and their camera to instantly complete one of the following tasks

Open their web browser and instantly visit your website

Deliver a special message you want them to know about (Great for discount offers)

Send a text message (great to sue with short codes that will build your SMS subscriber list)

Send an email (YOU could plug someone right into your autoresponder list)

Your prospect could also immediately call you without dialing.

If you have any print pieces you use for your business. You owe it to yourself to quickly grab your customers curosity and attention and let them quickly recognize what your offering. It might even help with a three foot rule contact as they ask about the QR code and if their not familiar with this new technology you can educate them making you appear an expert in the hottest marketing tools.

You can create your QR Code here on my site. Just complete the instructions below and it will instantly create your code. The code will show up as a picture. Just right click on the code and save it as a picture on your hard drive. Then let your marketing mind explode with endless possiblities of what you can do with it.

A domain name is also known as a URL or website address. I register and host my websites at GoDaddy and I recommend them highly because they make the next steps so much easier.

After registering your domain name you will need hosting which will be offered to you from GoDaddy after you registered your .com Hosting is space you rent on a server that stores the content that will be displayed on your website.

Now we are getting to the scary part, how do you build a website when you may not know HTML, the programming language, used to design websites. You have two options here and I will recommend the 2nd one.

The 1st is WYSIWYG software. This stands for “What YOU See is What YOU Get” software. If you can drag and drop, copy and paste and type an email you have the capability to build a website with this software. There are several versions of it from free to very pricey. Microsoft Expressions is a good, DreamWeaver is also highly rated, just do a search for some and you will find plenty. Here is a link to a free one that I use from time to time called NVU and also GoDaddy offers one but I have not used it so can’t give an honest opinion about it.

The 2nd is by using the Word Press platform and I will recommend that if you are a newbie you start here. You can get a free site and free hosting and heck you don’t even really need a domain name at wordpress.com but I don’t recommend that but instead go to wordpress.org and download the software and host it yourself. I like to control my site and not have to worry that the people hosting wordpress.com can take my site down if they don’t like it.

If you have chosen GoDaddy to host your site and you have chosen to use Word Press to build your site then you’re going to love this. When you login to your GoDaddy hosting account and click on applications you will see Word Press listed. You click that and choose your domain name and the good folks over at GoDaddy will install the software for you.

Then you just login to your Word Press site and starting placing content. The look and design of your website is very easy to change inside your Word Press dashboard. If you would like some custom looking headers I can do those for you (for a small fee of course) starting around $35.

The best part about using the Word Press platform is there are so many plugins that are free that will make your website work and do things that will blow your mind if your new to building a online marketing site.

I hope that helps let me know any questions you have on building your own site leave a comment below and I will do my best to provide the solution here.

Dear networker if you’re asking that question you have finally realized that the replicating website your MLM company has provided to you is usually nothing but a digital brochure describing the products, services and staff behind your opportunity. It is most likely not designed to fulfill the fundamental task that tactical online marketers try to do every day which is to generate leads and create additional income streams.

Your goal with an online marketing site is to attract your target market, other networkers, into leaving their contact information in exchange for some valuable content that you provide to solve a problem that person may be experiencing with his or her business.

What are the two fundamental problems every networker has? Not enough leads and their typically spending more than they earn. If you are like me I enjoy presenting my companies products and services to potential customers and/or distributors because I loved them myself and I feel strongly about what we are trying to accomplish for our customers and we both agree that owning your own business is the only way to get ahead so everybody should do it right? But also if you’re like me I hated the three foot rule and walking around stores hunting “sharp people” aka decent looking strangers down and ambush them into an F.O.R.M. conversation. You know the whole Family, Occupation, Recreation, Money conversation that eventually leads you into getting their phone number because you are expanding your business in the area… Now granted I hate it but I became good at it which will be another article at another time but I knew a better way had to exist.

So here are the basics of how you strategically attract more leads and money your way with your own online marketing site. You research, implement, and report results, on your website, solutions to issues that people in the MLM Industry face every day. This presents you as a leader and a “Go To” person and people are simply drawn to those who know where they’re going and have the gumption to move ahead. Now I can hear you asking; why would I want to attract other networkers that are already in a business? Because they are already sold on the industry and if they begin looking for another opportunity to promote and you have provided them so much help they will seek you out to join your team hence you have become the hunted instead of the 3’ hunter.

One tactical must have is a opt in box on your website, you know that form that asks for your name and email address. You want your website visitors to leave their contact information for really juicy information that solves a major problem. This adds them to “Your List”. The list is the most powerful thing you can own because it’s a list of people interested in your niche and are willing to spend money on tools and resources that will solve their marketing problems. When you recommend such products most have affiliate programs with them that allow you to earn a commission by referring someone to them which provides you a secondary income stream from other networkers who are currently not interested in joining your primary company.
